College admission is not just based on SAT scores but also other merits like personality, curiosity, compassion, creativity, leadership, personal interest, and commitment, and so on. So my suggestion was not to focus too much on just academic performance, but through building a portfolio which demonstrates your compassion towards the society, community, and people in need of help; through creative solutions and helped them out. By such a portfolio, showing to the admission committee your merits in creativity, compassion, commitment, and so on.
